Rich in unusual products such as cannamela and manna, it has been lived in by rare animals such as the ibex and orige. The crystalline and fresh waters of rivers flow through the flourishing<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>fruit orchards and there are underground hot sulphurous waters that offer refreshment to the local nobles and rulers. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>THE BARONS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The barons of Castiglione Marittimo are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adinolfo,\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">we can read a dedication on a manor house in the village of Castiglione until the 1800s<\/span>;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Angelo,\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">fourth baron<\/span>;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jacopello,\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">sixth baron, hunting friend of Henry d\u2019Aragona, brother of King Alfonso II<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Their descriptions follow their peculiarities to reconstruct a more precise and valid biography. All are inserted in a precise genealogy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Castiglione throughout<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>time has remained a reference point for the family. Even though once they obtained the title of prince they transferred to nearby Nicastro and also when they went to Naples, they continued to consider this their land as a granary from which they could take resources to pay for their luxury lifestyle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The name of Cesare d\u2019Aquino, second prince, remains tied to his death in the tragic earthquake of 1638. Also his wife, Princess Laura d\u2019Aquino, escaped by miracle from the earthquake, left a large echo of her benevolent actions that she did throughout the entire dominion.
